Charles and Jane O'Dowde

My great grandmother, Elizabeth O'Dowde, was born in Cambridge MA, USA. The Lexington MA, USA, 1920 census has her Father listed from Ireland and her mother from England. Where would I start to look for their records?

Have you found the family in other censuses, where their years of immigration are specified?

Do you have access to Ancestry or FindMyPast?

Do you have her parents  marriage

Not, yet. I will be visiting my local library to access ancestry.com for free. I don't know if they married in the states or abroad.  Does the app halve the immigration records?

Did Elizabeth O'Dowde marry James J Burton in 1900? (Elizabeth age 22)

In which case it is not clear as O'Dowde appears to be her Mother's (Jane's) maiden name, so what is her Father's surname?

Or is mine just a wild guess?
