Staffordshire County Asylum 1891 census
« on: Wednesday 08 June 16 13:18 BST (UK) »
Hi  :)

I'm looking to view the census for Staffordshire County Asylum 1891.
I believe it was on Corporation Street Stafford.

Can someone please tell me how to view it? I've not sussed how to search for a place rather than a person.
I have ancestry & FindMyPast

Thank you very much helpful people  :-*

On Ancestry I put the words Staffordshire patient in the keyword box . You can then select from the results and move backwards and forwards through the piece. The reference is RG12/2140. Patients are listed by their initials only. You can also put "Staffordshire county lunatic asylum " in the keyword box for the same results.
