I thank you all for your replies on parents of Ella Richards Harris ( married name Beanham) her father on M/C was Jack Harris an Oyster Merchant. I have all information from her marriage to her death in 1952. She had 4 children, one of them was my father.

I cant find any trace of a Jack Harris, Oyster Merchant (even under John which is his likely name)

father John on both those baptisms in St Just in Roseland is noted as mason

just been having another look for Eliza Harris & family.  On Henry's 1883 baptism, his date of birth is noted as 7 Aug 1862, father noted as mason, but on the 1881 census, he was a fisherman.

So this Eliza appears to be one whose birth reg was in an earlier reply. Ella Beanham's place of birth according to the 1901 census was Falmouth, the other side of the Falmouth Roads from St Mawes which would understandable as she might have been given the nearest large place, but how could she get away with claiming to be 22 when she was 36? She's living by herself in St Mawes in 1891 aged 23 RG12/1827 folio 43 pg 25
