Ann FULLILOVE, born 1700s, finding her family
« on: Sunday 12 June 16 21:49 BST (UK) »
As the title suggests, I would very much like help with finding the family (and by that I mean parents and siblings) of Ann Fullilove.

I know that she married Jacob Moxon (born 1772), on 8 Aug 1797 at Rotherham, but I don't know much more than that. With Jacob, she had the following children (all baptized at Wentworth near Thorpe Hesley); Mary (1797-1798), William (born 1799), Thomas (1801-1854), Joseph (born 1803), David (born 1805) and Jacob (1808-1839). I believe Ann died in 1837 as her husband Jacob is living alone in 1841, and there is a relevant death index for this in Rotherham. I haven't found her burial record yet though.

Help finding possible baptisms for Ann Fullilove would be great - I did find these ones as a start, but these ones are rather early:
1) bap 24 Apr 1761, Cathedral St Peter, Sheffield, father: George Fullilove.
2) bap 11 May 1761 Cathedral St Peter, Sheffield, father: John Fullilove.
3) 2 Apr 1760 Ecclesfield, mother: Elizabeth Fullilove

Certainly finding a later baptism would look more positive, although I don't know if she'd been married before she married Jacob - so Fullilove perhaps may not be her maiden name.

Thank you for any help you can offer,
Holly

Gosh I've been looking for ages for Ann, but I have I think found her burial which gives her age  ;D

Ann Moxon of Thorpe buried 23 December 1837 aged 72 years, so a birth year of c1765

Have you tried looking for a Hannah ? Just a thought.
I did look for an earlier marriage but couldn't see one of those either.
