Yes Ev,  she married Hugh O Neil & yes the family you cite here is her family & you've found cave dwellers!  I've read about them & seen photos but first time they've come up in my searching.

Re her parents on the 1899 marriage:- Father John Newlands, Hawker. Mother Isabella Newlands MS MacArthur?

The libindex information may be the wrong , although Marjory's birthplace is given as Lybster(c1876) which I think is in the Parish of Latheron.

Occumster, Clyth is very close to Lybster on the map , that Libindex information may still be relevant.

Yes, I think that Libindex is very relevant & am certain that this is the same family.
How to find out if the marriage to Geo Foxton was dissolved is my next problem otherwise they may both have been bigamists! X

On the same topic:- bigamy - George Foxton pedlar, shows up on the 1891 census, in a common lodging house in Horsemarket Close, Kelso as a married man aged 26.
The 3 entries for Gill underneath his name may be his in laws through a sister's marriage.
Can anyone please help me spot a marriage earlier than 1894 for George Foxton?

Using the second person forename function on SP this could be Marjory on the 1911 Census ?

Aberlour , Banff.
Hugh O'Neill 36
Marjory O'Neill 32
Thomas O'Neill 11
Mary O'Neill 9
Catherine O'Neill 6
Hugh O'Neill 4

Also a death -
Marjory Newlands(other surname NEIL / McArthur) 1965 New Deer , Aberdeen , born c1879.

That death will not be available online untill next year.

Well done Ev! I think that is very likely to be her.  Have you any idea how to check divorces, not that I think they would have had the money to pay for lawyers etc.
