2x grandparents
« on: Wednesday 15 June 16 23:49 BST (UK) »
I am researching the last names Mander, McNaughton and Northcott, they hail from England, Scotland and Canada. Wanting information on a Benjamin Dudley Mander Sr can't find when and where died he is my gg grandfather.
Benjamin Dudley SR was born on Nov/09/1835,  christened at St thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England and the date is Feb/26/1837, his parents were William mander and Susannah , I am not positive if theses people are my relatives as the findings I have are saying that grandfather Albert Mander was born in1853 and i know for certain that he was born in 1886 as I have his death information.

Any help with this puzzle would be appreciated.

The 1891 census has a 5yr old Albert Mander b Birmingham Warwickshire living with grandmother Martha Mander 71 also b Birmingham.  Is this your Albert?

If so - he seems to be the son of Richard Luckman Mander and Isabella Turner who married in 1877.  Richard's father was Samuel

I have record of a 'Benjamin D Mander' born in 1835, dying in 1906, Stourbridge, Worcestershire. Any good?

I wouldn't rely on the 1866 birth date detail that you have, as that is only the information that is given by the informant at the time of death.  The informant may not necessarily know when or even where the deceased was born.
