Cunningham John, born in Scotland 1835

John married Martha Ewan in Tasmania, after arriving from Scotland. His father was John Cunningham & mother was Agnes Denny Alexander. I'm  looking for information to extend my family tree research. Thank you

Can only see 1 John Cunningham born (28/6/1835) with parents John Cunningham & Agnes Alexander but the census says Agnes was born 1799 Ayr so not them. Not much else coming up at present.

All Old Parish Greenock
Martha's name jumps between McKane & McKean.

Parents 1841; Apen Shore Greenock.

I believe that's them Jim, as it matches that on Family Search, which has Martha's surname name spelt differently again.  :)

That doesn't surprise me.

I have the surname Kean in my tree with variants Kane/Kain/Kaine/Cain/Caine to date although not Mc/Mac

Agnes was John Snr wife. John jnr was married to Martha & came to Australia on the Broomielaw
