James Mutch, Canal Street, Aberdeen 1908

Hi All,

The Valuation Roll confirms that a James Beedie Mutch did in fact live at The Four Mile Cottage, Inverurie Road, Bucksburn, Aberdeen.
However its now suggested the one I'm looking for may have died some time 1960 - 65 (not 1966 as earlier). With the 'Beedie' middle name that might narrow down when he was born, got married (apparently he may have had 2 daughters) and died? Any clues on any of this?

There's a James Beedie Mutch born: 11/04/1885, Ardlaw Pitsligo

Parents: Alexander and Jane Cadger

Jamjar

So that is his birth!

James Beedie Mutch - died in Newhills at the age of 80, in 1966. He married in 1909, Maggie Campbell. His occupation is given as attendant for the insane at the Kingseat Asylum. Likely exclude given his occupation in 1909?

Monica

And these are his marriage and death details. You need to order or view in person that death (currently death images online up to 1965 - 50yr privacy rule).

Not sure what you mean with this? Who is suggesting this? The SP death entry on their index shows in 1966 for a James Beedie Mutch fitting what we have so far for him in terms of birth year etc.
