death of Jane Jones aged 8 in 1881

speculated that was our Jane aged 7 earlier in 1881 in Wrexham, daughter of William Jones but no that Jane was the daughter of Robert Jones!

now a possible death in 1887 Wrexham aged 11
and one in 1888 Wrexham aged 12
both seem to be two years out but here's hoping one is our missing Jane!

the one age 12 wasn't a daughter of William Jones

looks like my Jane has vanished into thin air lol

I got the correct birth certificate at least now:

Jane Eleanor Jones born 16 Aug 1873 at Rhosnessney, Acton, Co Denbigh (as written on certificate)
daughter of William Jones X labourer of same address and Sarah Jane nee Huxley

Now what happened to this lost soul!

Do you know that she died early, or is it just that you can't find her in 1891? She would have been almost 18 by then so could she have married?

The death in 1887

    That may  be Plas Gwyn  Mountain

in 1911 the mother indicates 12 children born 6 living 6 died - all the living have been accounted for, four of the six deceased are accounted for - only Jane Eleanor and an unknown child remain unaccounted for! I was guessing Jane had died as no trace of a marriage or a census entry for sure by 1891.

very tricky to pin point - guess work finding the birth - can't believe it still lol

There are two marriages in 1908 and 1909 in Wrexham district for a Jane Eleanor Jones. Possibles, although she would be an older bride.
Although I'm having trouble locating any of the potential grooms in 1911 with a Jane Eleanor.
