Joseph W Harrison from Bingham

I'm trying to trace my ggrandad, Joseph W (William?) Harrison. I know he was married twice - first to Ellen Emma Warrington on 25 October 1930, then to Carrie Taylor in September 1955. I can't find anything on his birth or death (I think this was 1990). Any ideas? I think he was from Bingham, as my nan was born in Bingham - I've asked her for info, but she's not telling me anything!! She 'thinks' he was born on 1 January, but can't/won't tell me the year, and doesn't know the location. If anyone has any info on Joseph Harrison, I'd love to hear it - I think his parents were George Henry Harrison and Maud, but I'm not certain and could be totally wrong!

A copy of his 1930 marriage cert would give you his full middle name plus his age and also his fathers name and occupation

And there is a 1911 entry with parents you mention above.  You would have to view that entry yourself as 1911 lookups are not allowed

Thanks all - it all sounds very promising so I'll do some digging! I don't know where he died but Leicestershire is certainly a possibility - most of the family is Leics/Notts based, so it would fit. I'll order the marriage cert - thanks for the info!!
