WW2 Aircrew - search for grave photos, anyone help?
« on: Sunday 26 June 16 13:53 BST (UK) »
Hi -
Looking for photos of grave of Pilot officer Peter Hobbs.
He and his crew perished when their Halifax bomber was shot down by a night fighter on a raid on Nurnberg on Aug 11th 1943. There is a photo that Ive traced showing 4 of his comrades headstones but not his.  They are buried at Chiervres Memorial Cemetery near Mons,Belgium.

thanks for looking
Lisa Perry (nee Hobbs)

if you go to the find a grave site and join up [ its completely free ] you can request a photo of the grave apparently there are 28 volunteers within 50 miles of the grave so hopefully someone will take a pic and post it up for you .
