Jacob Moxon burials - 1845 and 1866 Rotherham.
« on: Sunday 26 June 16 20:38 BST (UK) »
Hello all,

I have two possible death records here for my relation Jacob Moxon -
1) Jacob Moxon, Jul-Aug-Sep 1845 Rotherham
2) Jacob Moxon, Jan-Feb-Mar 1866 Rotherham

I think my Jacob is more likely to be the 1845 death. My Jacob was living in Thorpe Hesley in 1841, and he was born about 1772.  He appears to have been a labourer and Iron Miner in his life.

If anyone could find possible burial records for these two it would be greatly appreciated - it would really help to know the ages of the Jacob Moxon's in the above deaths, or maybe their abode at the time of death.

Many thanks for any help,
Holly

Hi Holly

The 1866 burial looks to be this one and definitely not yours, only a transcription I'm afraid.

Jacob Moxon buried 24 January 1866, age : 0 , at St Thomas Kimberworth

Hi Claire,

At least I can discount the 1866 death now, the 1845 death is looking more likely because I have an 1841 census for him but not a 1851 census. Thank you for your help :)
