Hoping someone can "HELP ME", find out when and where my Great Grandmother Eliza's first husband a Job Hayes died please.
(Job used a few names through out his life. Job/Joseph/John Hayes/Hays/Haynes).
Job Hayes was born Oct 9,1842 in Corsham, Wiltshire to Thomas Hayes & Sarah Butler.
Job married Eliza Clifford (born around 1853) in Feb 26, 1870 in Cricklade, Wiltshire.
They went on to have 7 children from 1871 to 1886. The last child Frederick was born October 12, 1886 in Wadswick, Wiltshire.
On the 1891 census, Eliza was a 'WIDOW', and living in 9 Manchester Street, Bristol, England.
So Job Hayes died between 1886 and 1891.
I do have a 1921 letter that says, "father been dead nearly 30 years".
Also in this letter it says that their daughter, Emily Hayes (born Oct 11, 1871 in Dauntsey, Wiltshire, England) was 16 at the time of her fathers death. Which makes it around 1888.??
But in this 1921 letter it says "father been dead nearly 30 years".
So to me there is a 3 year gap. ??
I have tried many sites to find out when and where Job Hayes died, but have found nothing, so I have hit a brick wall. :-(
Can someone PLEASE HELP ME with any information.
