Dearham

Would I be right in thinking someone born in Dearham the birth would be a cockermouth registration.
I am trying to find the parents of Hannah Johnstone who married George Harrison in 1892 wigton. She died oct 1945 aged 72 which would make her born 1873, the only one I can find is a Hannah Johnston born March quarter 1873 cockermouth. In the 1901 census she gives aspatria as place of birth, in 1911 she gives Mealsgate, I thought I had found her living in Harriston parents Adam & Mary but Hannah still with her mother in 1911. Have found a David & Jane Johnstone with a daughter Hannah born in Dearham.

Yes Dearham comes up under Cockermouth but not the other birthplaces you mention.

The marriage certificate should confirm who her father was and any witness names might be helpful to pin down the correct family.

Also check under Ann as the names Hannah/Ann can swap about!
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
