Unclear name
« on: Friday 01 July 16 10:59 BST (UK) »
Hi, I found a marraige cert for my 3rd great grandparents but i can't make out the name properly. I can see Patrick and Esther on the top line (my 4th great gparents) and Anne on the bottom line but I'm not really sure of the father's name? Thought it might be John but it doesn't quite fit. Can anybody figure this one out? 😃 Thank you

If I'm on the correct line looks like 'Thos' short for Thomas

I agree with Thos.

I think the other name may be Ann E.

Thanks everybody. I found the birth certificate that shows Anne and Thomas. Its kinda strange the way they shortened Thomas when its written in full on most other records.

Thanks again.
