Marriage: Fanny Mitchell/William Crunden
« on: Monday 04 July 16 21:14 BST (UK) »
If anyone is going to East Sussex Record Office please could you have a quick check of the marriage between Fanny Mitchell and William Crunden?  I believe it was on 30th Aug 1832 in Eastbourne.  I need all the details from the Marriage entry, particularly the parents and witness names.  Thank you.  If I can return the favour in Portsmouth or Winchester please let me know.

I don't think you will get parents names. Fathers are shown on marriages after Civil Registration began in 1837, mothers names have never been shown. For 1832 you will just get the witnesses.

Thank you both of you.  I think that is the right baptism Omega - where did you find it?  Does the Marriage Entry give the names of the witnesses please?

Thanks again

Sussex Marriage Index shows that marriage as 1811 but no witnesses given.
The 1832 marriage for Frances shows the groom as William Crunding.  Again, no other details.
