I believe the Harold (“Harry”) Snedker you are looking for is a common ancestor of mine. I have printed the war records that document his nomination for a medal of gallantry, and the actions that occurred on 28 August 1918 that led to his recognition. His medals were available on an online auction some time ago.

Here are his military details:
British Army 9th Royal Fusiliers,
Middlesex Regiment - 4426 Serjeant G/106054

I have the following personal details for him:
Born 1883 to Henry (1845) and Jane (1842), married Annie (1883) in 1902, had at least two sons, and he died in 1946.
