Edward & Annie Dixie (nee Lamb)
« on: Sunday 10 July 16 11:52 BST (UK) »
Firstly I would like to thank all who replied to my first topic the ''Dixie Family Tree'', which was to find any details on Edward Dixie & Sarah Ann Dixie (nee Eastwood). Your replies came in very useful. Thank you to you all once again.

Since my first post I have recently found Edward & Sarah's grave which is situated in Church Road Cemetery, Mitcham. Their plot is in Section Z Grave No 309. They are buried with their daughter Ada 1884-1888.

My next quest is to find more information on their first son Edward Dixie who married Annie Lamb on the 26th May 1890.

Any information or pictures of them or their family listed below would be most appreciated.

Elizabeth Dixie born (1894-

Leonard Dixie (1898-1918) Killed in the First World War in France. I have his war medals and pictures of his grave in France. Any picture of him would be the icing on the cake.

Lydia Dixie nee Huxley (1901-1985)

Councelette Dixie (1903-

Philip Dixie my Grandad (1906-1932)

Matilda Dixie (1909-1924)

William Francis Dixie (1911-1974)

Ada Dixie nee Witney (1914-1999)

Hope to hear from you soon.

All the very best.

Phil

If  you want to look further on 1911, which we can't talk about you ought to look for variations in the surname

I am convinced this surname has been miss spelt on most records, you might have to widen your net, Christian name of Counceletta is also spelt in various ways just to add to the confusion
