Can anyone please find Thomas on the 1851 and 1861 Census please?

1841: Toll Gate, Pool, Gungrog Fawr, Montgomershire
Thomas Gwillim 25, Jane 25, Eliz 6, John 3 and Elizabeth 9mths all born Montgomeryshire.
1851? 1861?
1871: Cop Farm Road, Saltney, Boughton, Flintshire
Thomas 55 and Jane 60

Jane Gwillim died 1st October 1879 69yrs (buried Overleigh Cemetery) (Cheshire website Gevilline)

1881: Plimyard Cottage, Eastham, Thomas 64yrs Widower Farm Bailiff
Thomas died 9th July 1888 76yrs (buried Overleigh Cemetery)
His death appears in the Chester Chronicle, Observer and Courant, spelt Gwillim and Gwilliam.

1861 likely family in Boughton, Great Boughton Cheshire

Thomas Gwilliam, 48 farm bailiff transcribed as Gwillian
Jane, wife 50
Thomas, son 13
David, son 10

With a number of servants. Family all b Montgomeryshire.

Thank you for finding the 1861 Census, so very pleased

As you say with David's birth registered Montgomeryshire Mch Qtr 1851, he was baptised 23.02.1851, abode Pool, Guildsfield, St. Aelhaiarn, Montgomeryshire, I would hope the 1851 Census would be in Montgomeryshire

Jane Gwillim you have noted is my great grandmother baptised 31.12.1843 Tirmynech, Guildsfield.
So far we have Gwillim, Gwilliam, Gevilline and Gwillian, perhaps a different spelling again in the 1851 Census

I tried long and hard could not find sorry. There are some bapts for family on FindMyPast and familysearch, if no access let me know.

I did note that Jane was bapt at same address as her eldest sister, who was born before parents marriage.

I have been trying for a very long time to find the 1851 Census, it is proving very elusive!
Eliza the eldest child of Thomas and Jane was born before her parents marriage. In the 1841 Census Eliza is listed as 6yrs, and her parents marriage was 09.05.1837 St Aelhairn.

Her bapt is Powell or Gwilliam, which is as you know, Jane Powell, eventual wife of Thomas Gwilliam maiden name, good luck with your search.
