Hi

Looking for the date of birth And information about parents  and siblings of Phoebe Dutton b c 1844/45 in or around Kingswinford

She was married to Tnomas Parlow in 1868 in Ocker Hill and died in Walsall in 1931

Grateful for any information about her and her relatives

Very strange 1851 census but father looks to be Edward Dutton 33 Furnace man born Staffordshire wife Mary.

especially as Mary was born in Tipton. Looks like James was transcription error

Rosannah Willmott is presumably nee Fergusson and Mary's oldest daughter. Makes Mary's age of 33 a bit suspect.

1841 shows this "Furgezen" (Ferguson?) family in Cannock:

Sorry - may be a red herring as the Dutton/Fergusson marriage took place around this time and possibly before the 1841 census date (6 June 1841)

Thank you all for your replies. They have helped to clarify the relationships.

I think that Phoebe is the Daughter of Edward and Mary who was previously married to Joseph Ferguson. and that mary's daughter from the ferguson marriage married Joseph Wilmot.

Phoebe's siblings are ?, Sarah h, Mary, William, Daniel and Thomas.

The baptismal date of 14 April 1844 sounds correct for Phoebe but The parents given as James and Mary is somewhat of an anomaly. There is no birth record on FBMD.


There does seem something suspect about Mary's age
