Richard Irwin (Irvine) Steele marriage and children

Hello,

I found a marriage for a Richard Irwin (spelt as Irvine on some records) Steele in 1903 to either a Priscilla Graham or Hilda Brown in Carlisle, Cumberland.

Richard was born in 1874 in Sri Lanka and died in 1938 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire.

I am trying to locate children, however I cannot seem to find Richard on the 1911 census and lookups of this resource are not allowed.

Is there any other way I can locate children without asking for a lookup of the 1911 census?

Free bmd would be a good start, however between the marriage and the census, it doesn't give the mothers maiden name until 1911

From the September qtr of 1911 - mothers maiden name was shown against birth entries

Found him in less than 2 minutes on the 1911.  All names spelt  correctly

Just input his christian name only and his birthyear +- 1yr and selected Cumberland to search
