Fanny Eleanor Samson

I'm looking for Fanny Eleanor Samson. According to 1911 census she was born about 1869 in Tidsley, Devon and married Thomas Ludwell about 1900. I have the birth certificate for her last child (Thomas Samson Ludwell b.1911 Bristol) to confirm her maiden name. Other children can be found on that census.
I can find no trace of her before that date. I can't find a place called Tidsley. Could it be Iddesleigh or even Tigley?
Any help would be gratefully received.

Son Ellis Ludwell was registered in Blackburn as Ellis Wild mothers maiden name Samson so it looks as though she first married a Mr. Wild.

I like the look of the family in North Tawton and will follow that up. But where is Tidsley?
Will follow up the Wild connection in Blackburn too.
