Thank you very much for all the extra information, it's fantastic.  I will have a good look through it all tomorrow evening.

One thing that has confused me.  I have previously seen two records of Frances Smallwoods travelling to Canada (which you have just noted - thanks). Once with Iris and Eileen and the other time with Anthony and Ursulina.  Eileen and Ursulina's births were both registered in different places in different quarters at the beginning of 1916. Both had mother's maiden name as Stone. I think I'll need to order their birth ceritificates to figure that one out.

Eileen's obit puts her birth year as 1918. so somewhere there must be a mistranscription.

I'll pm the obit to you as it contains names of living folks.
