Manchester Crematorium - "was first opened in 1892"

(Warrington Borough) Walton Lea Crematorium, Chester Road, Higher Walton, Cheshire  -  "from 20 April 1964"

St Helens Crematorium, Lancashire - "between 1959 – 62 the Crematorium and Chapel of Remembrance (architect Harry Bannister) were constructed"

Wigan Crematorium, Lancashire - "there is Wigan Cemetery, which is at the bottom of Cemetery Road. One of the former chapels was converted into the crematorium in the 1950s. Then there's Ince Cemetery, on Warrington Road, but with Cemetery Road as its southern boundary"

The first cremation took place at Manchester Crematorium on Monday 22nd August 1892, of a Mr. Thomas Morgan Brown. Liverpool Crematorium was opened on Friday 11th September 1896

Blackpool Crematorium was opened on Thursday 18th July 1935. Rochdale Crematorium was opened in November 1938.

Overdale (Bolton) first opened 1954.
Looking at ALSTON in south Ribble area, ALSTEAD and DONBAVAND/DUNBABIN etc. everywhere, HOWCROFT and MARSH in Bolton and Westhoughton, PICKERING in the Whitehaven area.
