There was a 6th brother Vincent who died in 1906
http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/f27ffd0060850

Other children of Louis and Henrietta BOTTE

Elizabeth - 5 May 1833. St Audoen's
Mary Anne - 3 Jul 1836. SS Michael & John
Henrietta - 17 Apr 1838. SS Michael & John
and the already found Josephine - April 1841. SS Michael & John
so along with Hyppolite that would account for the five children mentioned in the article.

A few prison records in 1916 for Augustine's wife Bridget Molloy record that he is 'on active service' so he joined the army at some time too, and their son Augustine Jnr is recorded in the Free State Army in 1922.

Ahh think i have the generations mixed up as you did'nt say when they went to Manchester

This is probably who you are looking for
Louis and Julianna Monolly 1925  treat the spelling of her name with caution maybe Munnelly
http://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details-civil/170cb16345539

he may have taken up with Miss Finn here in Dublin as there are two births in Dublin
De botte/Finn  and no marriages De Botte/Finn

re catholic churches in Dublin there are several

Me again just checkin records the Louis mentioned in the last post is correct but a different Louis than the 1 that came to Manchester...see they all the same name. Hippolyte would of been the grandad of the Louis in Manchester the lads who came to England there dad is Augustine Hippolyte other son...
