hi i am having trouble finding my great grandfathers mother i have found william bradley born around 1862 marriage certificate  which says no father and i have found census which says he was born in bishops castle in Shropshire but i am stuck i know the marriage certificate in 1898 is correct and the census in 1901 which says he was born in bishops castle is correct  but before 1898 i can not find him any help would be appreciated            sarahmjp

hi cas as you can see its a bit confusing on the marriage cert it say ann elizabeth turner her maiden name was moyles  on the census its say she was elizabeth ann   sarah

Her mother Harriet Moyle is living with them in 1901. The Turner children are from her previous marriage.

1871 Union Street Workhouse Shropshire has a William Bradley, age 7, born Bishops Castle, pauper.

Wife is Annie on last census.

Birth registration should come under Clun for Bishops Castle, not seeing it at mo.

hi jo yes  thats the right one i have gone back to 1691 on great grandmothers side and i did find the census from the work house but i have no sure facts saying that is the right william bradley as there is another william bradley living in lydbury north around the same time i have tried searching the other bradleys in the work house but i can not find a link      sarah
