Because it's closed for maintenance.

Sorry, but we are still waiting for the "all clear" before we can restore it.

How do I download a census  page  from 1951, can't seem to get  pull one up.  Do I have to order it from the GRO in London.

At the moment it's quite far down on a very long "to do" list. Sorry.

Hi

Is there any update as to when the site will be back up and running? I've just started doing my family history and it would be very useful

Hi

I have just recently started looking at RootsChat, even though I joined a while back.  I could contribute towards this site as I have downloaded masses of 1901 Census.  How do we go about setting one out?  Would it be similar to that used on Family Websites?

Also, has a separate site been started for Passenger Lists?

No, there is no (RootsChat) site for this.

Update:

I've finally found a bit of time to look at the problem more closely
and the "1901 Census Leftovers" site is now up and running again :)

http://1901census.rootschat.com/

At the moment it is "read-only" - due to pressure of other comitments,
we aren't accepting new submissions at the moment.

regards,
Bob
