Would some kind person with access to the Winnipeg Free Press - dated 16 December 1953.

Search for the obituary for William WILSON, I believe it appeared in that edition of the WFP.

Hi,

I have an obit for William Wilson in the Dec 17 1953 edition of the WFP.  He died Dec 13 1953 at his home, lot 61, St Mary's Road.  He was 73.  Funeral on the 18th.  Burial Brookside Cemetery. 

(There is also an obit for a John William Wilson in the Dec 22 and 23 1953 editions of the WFP.  This man was 53 and born in Liverpool.  There is a lot more about his family in his obit.  --- just making sure you have the obit you want).

Hi RK,
The William Wilson - who died 13 December 1953 is the one I'm interested in.
He was actually William John Wilson - born 1882 in Canada.
Does the obit give anymore information besides what you have posted.

No - it is a very short obit.  The only information I left out was the name of the funeral home and the name of the minister.  There is no more personal information about your William Wilson.
