FindMy past have the 1939 register. You can search for free but will have to pay to view the full results. Unless your local Library has access to FindMyPast.

The 1939 register will be too late for that as it was compiled 29 September 1939 unless the family were still living at the same address. People born after 1915 do not appear unless there has been proof they have already died.

Electoral registers maybe the way forward but only those eligible to vote and who registered to vote will appear on them, so not all women as they didn't get the vote until 1928

So if you want to find a child born after 1911 and before 1939 you will have to wait until 2011?
