Are you able to let me know if "Thomas llewellin"  married a "Cecil Picton"
Thomas was the brother of Jane Llewellin.  "Cecil Picton " was part of the Pictons of Poyston she may have died in 1806.

Hello Nc

If I have this right, the Cecil Picton who died in 1806 ,Rudbuxton, maiden name was Powell. She married Sir Thomas Picton in 1763. He died at Waterloo.

She paid Death Duties & also left a Will. For about £4 you can download a copy from the National Archives,Kew.

Hope this helps in someway

Thank you for the help I might have got the generations wrong.
I got this information from a relative part of it reads "Bond in the penalty of 300 pounds from Cecil Picton in the parish of Rhudbaxton Pems Widow to Thomas Llewellin"  It may be true or not.

They mention Lands End   there is a Lands-End farm at Poyston Rudbaxton so I will have to keep on looking

Regards

Hello Neville

I got something wrong,sorry :-[

A Thomas Picton & Cecil Powell did marry but they were the parents of Thomas who died at Waterloo.

It seems he had a sister named Cecil.

I think the Cecil Picton who died in 1806 was his mother. Her Will may help to see if a daughter Cecil married Thomas Llewellin.

Kind regards
