Finding people who are alive

Hi I am a beginner and firstly would like to find a relative that is alive , would I be able to do this on ancestry.co.uk or is this site just to find people who have passed? Thank you

Rootschat isn't a forum for tracing living people and we aren't allowed to post details of anyone who might still be alive but we can give general answers. However, you haven't yet given any indication of where in the world these relatives might be living

It depends what you want to find out about them, on ancestry, as lots of information is available.

However, rootschat is not for finding living people, you want to try a different site to discuss living people e.g. GenesReunited.

Have you looked on free electoral roll for them, or do they have a very common name?
