I'm afraid you are going to have to give far more details for people to be able to help you. Where exactly was it - which town?

Entering "Francis Street" into Google Maps doesn't bring up a steet of that name in Middlesborough.

Do you know if the street is no longer there, or has changed name?

From the Evening Gazette (Middlesborough):

There were six streets on the Marsh - Lloyd Street, Francis Street, Florence Street, Italy Street, Charlotte Street and Washington Street.

Unfortunately, there is no date.

Good find KGarrad. Those streets were not built when this map was drawn up:

Sadly the more recent maps on the NLS site don't give street names.

All the streets still exist - except Francis Street! ::)

Just one thing - is Maud deceased?
RootsChat does not allow the naming of living, or potentially living, people?

Possible marriage?
