May Ling. Unable to find GRO reference number for her death.

Hi there,
Just did a search on gro.gov.uk site and it is registered there as Ling, so the problem is with the freeBMD site. I can probably get them to correct this.

No the problem isn't with freebmd, if you look at the image of the GRO index, the image says King.

Whilst you can attach a postem to the entry on freebmd, you cannot get the GRO index changed at this late stage.

You can contact them and they will update the master copy of their index but there are so many in circulation they cannot change the others already out there on the internet or in microfiche in record offices etc.
