Ravenscraig hospital 1939

I'm trying to find records of births etc at this hospital
My mum was born there in July 1939 and was placed for adoption that's all she knows we have been trying to look for any information of her mum with no success
Any help would be greatly appreciated xx

It was in Irvine I believe originally it was 1 Bartonholm road which is the address on the birth certificate

 1 Bartonholm road , Irvine , Ayrshire was the address of the Cunninghame Combination Workhouse.

Was the mother not named on the birth certificate ?

Going back to the original post, any surviving hospital records which have been deposited for safekeeping will most likely be closed for 100 years because of data protection policies.

Hi yes the mother was named but my mum just wanted more information she is 77 now and it's the first time she has asked for help to find out anything ...
