Hi. It's AGES since I've been here but I'm back and needing your help....

Can anyone have a look for me and find out what they can about Elsie Kelly, who lived on Cemeterey Road in Gateshead until her death in the early 1980s, please?

She's possibly Margaret Elsie but that's not 100%.

I'm presuming she was a relative of my Grandma, born Annie Eileen Kelly (1913-2007)

I found her obituary cut out from the local paper in my Grandma's , but as far as I'm aware, I never met or heard of Elsie.

Any help gratefully accepted! x

Have you any idea whether that was her married name? What does the obituary say, does that give any more clues?

How old was she when she died to help with a birthyear?  Any husband mentioned? The obit should give her date of death as you just say

Her year of death was 1985 (I think). I have no idea whether she was married or not. I no longer have the cut-out so that's why I wanted to work backwards and see if I could find anything that rand a bell. The name on the obituary was just Elsie Kelly. I've found a birth for a Margaret Elsie Kelly 1912 - 1985 so I'm presuming that's her. Just dying to find out what relation she was. Our family was very secretive and never spoke about anything. x

There's a marriage of a Michael Kelly and on the same page a Mary Kirton? Does Michael Kelly ring any bells?
