"OFF LICENCE"  refers to shops selling alchoholiday,

I've never heard of an alcoholiday but it sounds like fun!

What purpose does the Aeriel near the window serve? What year?
I think it is a bracket  for hanging  a pub type name sign on,  not an aerial.

I agree, it doesn't look big enough for an aerial, especially early ones, they tended to be on the roof as well rather than the wall. Unless it's a radio aerial? If it is for hanging a pub sign what a pity it wasn't there!

I have just been banned by my Off Licence,   I went in  and asked for a box of alcoholidays.    They thought  I was being rude and offensive so   they  have banned me from going in there  again.

Good afternoon,

I must stop using my tablet for doing this. It auto corrects so many things, I can'tell imagine why it doesn'the stop it. I don'the want to keep having to correct words just because I use the apostrophyear ' like this. Couldn'the understand it at first.

John, I think you need to stop using the tablet or stop taking the tablets  ;D ;D

I'll book myself on the alcoholiday too, it sounds like a fun Rootschat trip.

You made me laugh John  ;D ;)

Are you sure it was me made you laugh and not OHs beer?

If you look closely at the date under the window it says 1907 I think. Definitely a 1 partly under the 9, and looks like a 0 between the 9 and the 7.

Ahhh, I think OH's beer is stronger than I thought, you are correct - it is 1907.  Well spotted, I must stop drinking beer  ;D

Oh that's harsh, I wouldn't have banned you.
Yes, I work in an Off licence so every day is an alcoholiday.
