Oxfordshire -Robert Liddell married 1836

Thanks to those replying to my earlier post which helped clarify the situation for me.
I am now looking for Robert Liddell, architect who married Mary Pether on 1 Sep 1836 in Cowley.
Where and when was he born? When and where died?
Did he have any other children apart from my great grandfather Frank Robert (b1853  d1903 in Glasgow)?
I am very much a beginner at this so any tips would be appreciated.

FamilySearch has details of the baptism of Robert Liddle at Bywell St Peter, Northumberland, 9 Sept 1804 (born in the June), parents Robert Liddle and Hannah Coe.

Looked in the papers first and came up with

Oxford Times 01 October 1864

Strickland-Liddell.-September 24, at St. Andrews Church, Holborn....William Stokes Strickland, to Emily, second daughter of Robert Liddell, late of St. Clement's, Oxford.

So think this death could be worth checking as is age is a bit up and down

Oxford Journal 20 February 1875
Feb. 12, at 20, West-street, Bristol, Mr Robert Liddell, aged 73, late of this city.

You would need to access a pay per view site for Alfred's marriage, Frank Liddell is a witness, father Robert, carpenter.
If you have a copy of Frank's marriage, you could compare signatures.
