Hi Guys
Wonder if you can help me again please. I'm trying to trace details of one of my Uncles William Yemm(born East Dean died Rotherham) married a Julia but surname unknown.She was born in Little Dale Gloucestershire. She was born in 1834 and died 1874. Oldest child was born in Northumberland in 1862

There is a marriage of a William 'Yemms' Q/E Dec 1860 in Sheffield Registration District. On the same page is a Julia Malson.

Maybe this is the marriage.

Christchurch at Attercliffe: on 21 Oct. 1860

William YEMMS bachelor 21  collier  of Attercliffe. Father: Nelson YEMMS  ~ collier
Julia MALSON widow 24 of Attercliffe. Father: Samuel HALE ~ collier

Both signed with an X
Witnesses: Moses Hale (X) and Ann Hale

EDIT: Moses Hale was Julia's brother ~ she witnessed at his wedding 1859

Her first marriage was in Shelton Staffordshire: 3 August 1856

Joseph MALSON 23 bach. collier of Hope Street. Father: William MALSON ~ collier
Julia HALE 22 spinster of Hope Street: Father: Samuel Hale ~ collier

Both left X in register
Witnesses: Samuel Sixsmith and Sarah Bosley

There was a Julia Emma Hale baptised in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire on 5/3/1837 - father Samuel, mother Ann.

Both full age,

 Milsom a collier. of Hundred of St Braviels: Father William a thatcher
Esther Jacksons of Westbury. Father Thomas a carpenter

By 1849 Milsom is dead and Esther YEMM remarries a Richard Baldwin (Esthers Father: Thomas Jackson carpenter)
