Thanks again keyboard and Ladyhawk. The children in London are definitely John Turner and Celia's. They lived in that area before going to NZ.
The King Wissett idea is interesting. Could Celia have dropped the Wissett from her name? I do know that she had sisters. I found the marriage certificate of Mary Ann King Wissett and it states her father is Charles and his occupation was listed as Cordwainer (which I looked up an is a shoemaker) so that information matches.

Nothing for Celia  :-[ but mentions Anne Wissett child Charles King Wissett, says she married

Thanks for more interesting information to think about. If Celia were illegitimate that might explain why she went with just King. It does seem weird though that there isn't a Charles King born a bit earlier than 1796. There are also lots of Charles and Celia's on the link you sent but no fit the story as far as dates go. One of the family members in Australia was trying to work this out many years ago but sadly she died. It was also before so many things were online. It would be great to solve this little mystery. Thanks for all of these leads!

I just noticed on the last website that there is a Henry Ambrose who married Ann King. Henry and Ann were witnesses on Celia's marriage certificate. Maybe Ann was Celia's sister or cousin. It is also possible that Henry was as well. Just to throw another name in the mix, when Celia and John Turner lived in London they testified at the Old Bailey in a case of a man who stole things from their house. Staying in the house was Abbott King (he was the son of Wm King and Ann Abbott of Lavenham) who also testified.

He was a relative for sure but maybe another cousin! Lots to think about.
