Catherine Coxon - missing 1861 and 1871 census
« on: Wednesday 07 September 16 14:34 BST (UK) »
I am looking for 1861 and 1871 census results for my great, great Grandmother Catherine Coxon. She was born in 1850 Cauldwell, Derbyshire, England. I have the 1851 census result - she was living with her parents Samuel and Frances in Cauldwell, Derbyshire. Many thanks in advance.

Oh my Gosh! The response was so quick!!! Thank you so very, very much Trish (and Maud) for the wonderful information supplied. It is all so very, very much appreciated.
I am so happy that Catherines' whereabouts in 1861 and 1871 were finally solved. Interesting that Catherine was a dairymaid - her Mother (Frances Hicklin) was noted as being a dairymaid too at the time of her marriage to Samuel Coxon in 1850.
Thank you so much too for all the wonderful links re the burial dates of various Coxons. I will be busy tonight entering in all the information.
I am sure i will be coming back to this wonderful site time and time again. I have many brick walls that need knocking down!
