Ireland's historical registers of births, marriages and deaths are now online
« on: Saturday 10 September 16 11:58 BST (UK) »
http://www.irishgenealogynews.com/2016/09/irelands-historical-registers-of-birth.html

The General Register Office of Ireland's historical civil registers of birth, marriage and death have been uploaded to the free state-run https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/

As anticipated, they follow the 100-75-50 years access rule and they are free. If the index entry gives you the option of an image, you download a pdf of the full register page in which that birth, marriage or death certificate appears.

Could someone clarify for me the following..?

When I see an entry such as the attached and the Group Registration is "N/R" there is no scanned image to refer to.. But it means the copy does exist, and just not scanned yet?  and I could get a copy of 4euro each? or it means that the image is lost altogether?

Thanks

Co Tipperary - Dorgan/Dargan/Durgan, Jones
Llanelly - Davis, Evans, Peregrine
Sussex - Fermor, Martin

Provided you have the page number, volume, quarter, name and district you can still order a 4 euro research copy of the cert.

Does anyone know if the 4 euro research copy can be emailed or is it posted?

Link to a thread about ordering certs from GRO Roscommon.   Yes the cert can be e-mailed.

Yes they can email the scans, fairly quickly too.

The order form is very simple and clear and answers most questions.
https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/images/content/GRO_Documents/Form_for_DAHG_site.pdf

And the help section is good
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

but I don't think any of them explain the Group Registration ID, as I understand it this ID number is assigned to each record as the GRO add it's image online and/or match married couples into one record, it replaces the Vol, Quarter and Page number, so a BMD will have one or the other but not both.
