Shropshire Parish Records 1900-1940
« on: Monday 12 September 16 20:33 BST (UK) »
Can anyone tell me where I can find parish records for Shropshire between 1900 and 1940? Online, or physical.
Looking especially, but not exclusively for Wem and Whitchurch areas.

Thanks

Lisa

Hi Lisa

You could try the Archives in Shrewsbury. The site says that they hold  microfiches of post 1900 records:

I have the opposite problem with Wem (very early ones  ::) )

Thanks but have consulted them a few years ago .(Just remembered that I even downloaded them and have them on a backup disk)  My comment was tongue in cheek  :)

Lisa wants to know the sources for 1900-1940  so I suggested the Shropshire archives
