I have posted separately regarding the known migration ( arr 16-5-1851) of 3 of Daniels children Benjamin, Charles and Rebecca with successful identification in the US in later years with the exception of Rebecca.( unlikely to be her aged 20 in Nebraska 1860 - says born Kent )

I am now aware that their father Daniel LONG and sister Mary LONG also migrated, but have been unable to identify them on a shipping list that I have access to.
I now know the following details.
1841 Daniel is in Hilperton, Wilts, England with his mother Charlotte, brother Jacob and 2 of his 4 children Benjamin and Rebecca.
1850 Daniel was in Rhode Island US as he it must be him on the 1850 US census aged 45 weaver b England. He was born in 1808. ( Daniel is not in the England census 1851).

1841 Mary is living locally to her family in Hilperton.
1851 Mary appears on the England census in Hilperton with the 3 siblings that migrated 6 weeks later , so was in England on 30th March ( I assume).
1858 migrated from Massachusetts to Nebraska.
1859 she married Echabe TUCKER but no formal record identified.
1860 Mary is married in Desoto Nebraska with her husband Echabe TUCKER.
1870 Mary and father in Desoto Nebraska with her husband and family.
1874 father Daniel's death 28th Oct in Nebraska ,headstone appears on findagrave.
1880 Mary is on the US census.
1890 not identified as yet.
1900 Mary appears on US census migration year stated as 1851
1910 Mary appears on US census migration year stated as 1848
1914 death in Lyons Nebraska , from the summary of her life, it was said she migrated age 19, and her birth year was 1827. So the evidence does not completely stack up, but clearly this was second hand knowledge.
I have the full manifest of the 16-5-1851 arrival of brig Bellona in NY, and have looked to see if Mary had married prior to the sailing, or possibly entered the US under another name on the pretence of marriage. I haven't found any convincing evidence to either of those possibilities yet.
Did Daniel and or Mary having previously sailed to US return to England to take the rest of the family, but it seems unlikely.
did Mary migrate not long after her siblings in 1851, and possibly not travelled with them due to illness. The summary of her in US says she was originally in Massachusetts, and this is where her brother Charles lived with wife Fanny through to 1918.
