Hi, I don't have full access to An* but the following with others help might be something. A Jean Duthie married an Ernest Rushby sept q 1937 Glanford B 7a 2308. This Jean dies in 1984 in Lincolnshire, her dob being 08.05.1906. May be something??

Hi, It is her, Iv'e just checked on findmypast and she is also recorded as Jeanie Bruce Rushby. It appears there were not any children from this union ( registered in either england or Wales) possibly Scotland. The best place to order the marriage cert is from the gro

Not sure what your saying in your last post. Glanford is a registration district in Lincolnshire. Scunthorpe is also in Lincs, but what do you know already about siblings being there as well?

Her sisters Maggie, Barbara, Annie and brother Alexander were all in the area
Maggie married John Buglass, Barbara married M Mchale & F Whyte, Annie married Edwin Pilc
Alexander was married in Scotland and died in Scunthorpe

Hi there, Jeanie Bruce Duthie was my grandmother she was married to Alfred Higgs before later marrying Ernest Rushby. My grandmother gave birth to a son my dad in Boston Massachusetts  before returning home to her hometown of Peterhead Scotland. She had 4 sisters Bella (isobella) , Meg (Margaret) , Barbara, and Annie and a brother Alec hope this helps
