Isn't that number 14?

At some point we'll have to stop  crossing paths.

Maureen and Ray could you explain the Wild card to me please.  How did you work out my question so quickly?

FindMyPast have got the family as Comley, so they only turned the 'w' into an 'm'!

Wildcards are when you substitute a letter for an asterisk *****

Eg.   Causley    C***ley
Ashford: Somerset, London
England: Devon, London, New Zealand
Holdway: Wiltshire
Hooper: Bristol, Somerset
Knowling: Devon, London
Southcott: Devon, China
Strong: Wiltshire
Watson: Cambridgeshire
White: Bristol
Windo - Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire

Substitute successive letters with a single asterisk

eg        c*ley            would give caley cowley croxley
c*l*y           would give caley cowley croxley
and also caly cowly croxly crumbly cheesily coldly cloudily

etc

A number of search mechanisms do not like preceding eg *owley ( or multiple * )

As mentioned, I actually "walked" the road. St Johns St.

On ancrusty, on a view of any page (example is a census page)
you will notice that above the page image is eg

1871 England Census  for Caroline Louisa Miles
London Kensington Kensington Town District 33

You can actually get to anywhere by changing (dropdown selects), say District 33 to District 34, then view all of the census sheets for District 34 and work your way around the streets, even viewing uninhabitted houses.

You can change any of the elements, try changing Kensington to Bow.

Try it, you will not damage anything.
