Can anyone please give me and idea who William Kirtland of the Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry
who died 21/10/1914 might have been the son of ?

 The service number leads to William James Kirtland born 5 Sept 1886 son of William James and Mary Jane nee Nash. His wife was Nellie Woollen Joyner married  Christmas day 1909.

Hi and thanks for your help Tazzie.

I see that Bethnal Green is mentioned but an not sufficiently well versed in the Kirtlandís related to my mother. But, I wonder, if the London Kirtlandís had any interaction with the Windsor Kirtland's I believe some were. Leonard F. b. Windsor 1885 seems to have made regular trips there before and after ww2.
