Marriage 12 August 1798, Isleworth, Middlesex
« on: Friday 30 September 16 11:17 BST (UK) »
I have the marriage of a John Done to an Elizabeth Wile, 12 August 1798, Isleworth which I think is the marriage  I want.  I would very much like to know if both were of the same parish or one or other was of another parish.  I realise people only had to live in the parish where they married for just three weeks to "belong" but with a little luck I may get a lead to where Elizabeth Wile came from.  She died June 1837 before registration began.  He was in Langley Marish, Bucks. 1841, back in Middlesex as a visitor 1851 and died 1853 Langley Marish, Bucks.    With many thanks....DollyB

Unfortunately although Ancestry has this marriage it is only a transcription and they don't have the actual image - same with FamilySearch. You may need someone who can look at the parish record.

Thanks groom.  Just noticed the message about requests for lookups re parish registers Middelsex.  Thank you...will ask Middlesex Family History (?) to do a look-up for me.  Thanks again.

It might be quicker to ask Hounslow Library local studies as they have the parish register and you have the date
