Hi, I have a business card  of Bill's with several photographs. In a presentation folder of him at 1 month, 1 day, it states; born Aug 26/26.  A photograph with  writing is a studio photo of a sergeant soldier in uniform with a seated lady and small child. On the back it states; 'The Jaques, Dec 1916. Another of a soldier with bandolier (looks like an Artillery cap badge) states 331743 D Mmmwatt (difficult to read) 3274 6th Ave W Vancouver. If there are any Buckley researchers on Rootschat I could forward them on.

Canada Voters List 1972 shows the couple at same address - William Buckley (Mgr)

Parents were Robert William Buckley   9 May 1887 - Co. Dublin, Ireland  -  23 April 1980 Duncan British Columbia - retired - widowed - warehouse manager. spouse Annie nee Yates. (Hence the name Yates may also be in William Donald Yates Buckley.
William D Buckley was the informant.
Burial St Andrews Churchyard Cowichan Station British Columbia.

The guy with the service number 331743 - is David Brand Watt born 12/10/1881 Muiravonside, Linlithgow, Scotland

Son was the informant on his death certificate. Contractor with his own business.
Married to Bethea Ellen nee Cardiff - Cremation Garden Chapel Ocean View Burnaby British Columbia.
