I'm thinking her Nan may well have died - have found the following death entry:

Mary Violet M Nash born 25/11/1933, died Feb.1985 Basingstoke

(no other Mary V.M.'s born that time just her Nan).

This birth date does tie in with previously mentioned birth entry.   Cannot see any marriage entries for a Mary V M to Edwards, Stone, or indeed Nash!

Looks like obtaining her birth certificate is the only way to go here.

Is it just me - I cannot find anything online regarding Rumbold trapeze act/circus?   All I can see is messages from Ali herself.

It says on one - if I read it right - that Mary's own mother died 1987 - what was her name, where did she die?

Hi

I saw your enquiry in the chatroom but there was nobody in there at the time to help you.

I can see the marriage index of Bertha RUMBOLD to Arthur L G (or G L) TURNER in 1937 (Berkshire) and their entry on the 1939 Register (Hampshire) but I cannot see a birth registration for Bertha. Have you got a copy of Bertha and Arthur's marriage certificate?
