I'm trying to find more info on my GG Grandfather James Pirie Grant born in Aberdeen 1874 and his parents George (1839-) and Isabella/Lizzie Smith (1843-). Trying to find out what year he came to New Zealand and which boat he sailed on

According to a shipping list in Ancestry James, wife Barbara and son Forbes left Liverpool on 30th November 1923 on the Carpentaria, bound for Wellington NZ.

Some confusion over the name of the ship as the Ancestry index entry says Paparoe but the actual image has Carpentaria against name of ship.

Just an update on my ancestor James Pirie Grant. I decided to order his death certificate and it showed he and his family had been in NZ for 39 yrs at the time of his death. So that puts his arrival as 1921.  His father's full name (which I didn't have) George Sheperd Grant. So thank you all for your help and I'm still on the hunt.
